Rob Pattison Japan- Bound

The Oscars went smoothly for Robert Pattison last night even though there were reports that he was feeling nervous about presenting. Judging from his performance with Amanda Seyfried that night, it was better than expected plus added vampy stares.

Rob was heard as saying "Ah, thank God it's over. I was starting to feel a slip-up coming," as he left the stage with Amanda.

Rob is now leaving for Japan to attend a Twilight premiere. Won't this Twilight thing ever end?

Chuck + Nate Get Along Great In Real Life

Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford were snapped on set Gossip Girl. Before they got started with shooting, they also shot some hoops. Not playing with words here but that's a fact. And the other known fact is that they are really close in real life. "They've got a good bromance going on," said a friend.

Kate Winslet The Diva

After her expected win at the Oscar for Best Actress, Kate Winslet felt like she needed to channel her inner diva that she has probably been long anticipating. Not much complaining though when you're carrying your most prized possession after your children. The actress was spotted getting a good grasp on her 'baby' while being accompanied by her umbrella holder.

JoMilla: Really Dating

The reports might finally be cemented with a new video taken almost surreptitiously by a male fan of Camilla Belle or Joe Jonas? The 2 minute clip probably taken from the fan's camera phone showed Camilla waiting outside an Italian restaurant with some friends. At first glance, the guy dressed in black could've been mistaken to be Robert Pattison but once he swivelled his head to stare down this stalker, it was clearly not him. Who would've thought Joe,Rob and Cam would go on a lunch date together? After a minute passed, a frenzy of people started to swarm Camilla and friends signalling that Joe who was out of sight for most times had finally exited the restaurant probably having paid up and collected the leftovers. The sidewalk was suddenly buzzing with more activity. Looks like Cam isn't really that famous yet. After which, Joe looking very annoyed walked up to his car and very gentlemanly opened the door for Cam before getting into the driver's seat and driving off before tween fans could snap up a dozen Joe Jonas pictures.

The 81st Oscars:An Almost Predictable Night

If it wasn't shy of Sean Penn's win for Best Actor, the entire show would have been all too predictable. Most nominees who were favorited out for the entire journey of award shows leading up to the Oscars itself took home the most distinguished prize of the glamorous night. The movie that was set in a country far away from the award show that night swept most of the prizes except for acting. Other than that, Hugh Jackman's hosting duties were quite brilliant. Better than the conventional stand- up routines of the former hosts and also incorporating the show's nominees and movies into a few dance numbers.

What Were The Highlights Of The Night?

By golly, Jackman was a great combination for the perfect host; a great but sensitive (I was half of the time expecting him to pull a fast one on Angelina, Brad and Jen Aniston) sense of humor, a reasonably entertaining voice and not to forget his Aussie charm.

The amazingly stunning stage production from the 2000 intricate pieces of Swarovski crystals cascading down onto the sprawling stage and the moving projectors that for the more prestigious awards rose upwards to unveil past winners from different decades like a Barbie Doll presentation.

The post- humous win of Heath Ledger was another set of tears that haven't yet dried up following his previous wins since his passing. And not to mention, the deep speech that his family gave to honor their late son and brother. It really showed the side of the actors whom would rather give a prize to someone who deserved it most but was no longer alive than themselves whom were all present and well.

Ben Stiller's stark protrayal of another lost member of the industry- Joaquin Phoenix. Probably alive and well somewhere...chewing gum. I was really hoping Joaquin would pop out onto the stage and tell everyone that his antics so far were merely a major highlight to his spiralling career but we got...Ben Stiller with a bomber beard.

The gracious winners themselves should really be highly applauded. Meryl Streep could have sulked up a storm following another lost after (they must insist to repeat) 15 dear nominations but she happily relented the award to Kate Winslet.

Kate Winslet's father made his daughter's post- win speech a little more interesting.

Danny Boyle's expression throughout the entire show. The guy just can't keep still , can he? It's no wonder Slumdog was a brilliant hit. Oh, and that dedication to his children was very classic. Any other person would have made me believed they were doing some kind of weird happy dance.

The respective shows and actors rewarded was somewhat very assuring that the Academy and its members have not yet lost our faith of recognizing movies that were well done.

James Franco and Seth Rogen's short clip of irony. The segment where Franco was watching a clip of himself in Milk kissing Sean Penn, I was sure he winked at Sean.

The night that also recognized the LGBT community. Milk's double win from the screenwriter to the actor himself saw those public figures addressing and reminding people about equality and rights.

Marion Cottilard actually sounded like she brushed up on her English and accent. Shame on you Penelope. And Marion did look a tad bit like the Caucasian version of Ziyi Zhang, didn't she?

The array of winners from past decades and present joined together in personally honoring the night's nominees.

And The Low Points of The Show?

A little bit impatient myself, the show was very intermittent. Cutting short every 5 minutes to reel out another compensated time for commercials. Highly irksome.

The 'surprise' performance didn't really lift my eyebrows or my spirits after knowing for some time that Zac, Vanessa, Beyonce, Amanda and Dominic would be doing a so- called mini musical for the night. I think they were all better off in their respective movies.

Will Smith wanting to hog the attention most of the time while giving out the award and whilst presenting. Yes, yes, we know you're the richest movie star in the world.

The cringe worthy moment when Jen Aniston stepped onto the stage to present the awards with Jack Black and remembering Brangelina were sitting front row. Thank God, Jack was funny as always.

Having some presenters present for more than one award. Were they short of actors because I was sure there were tons of them tonight judging by the attendance.

The Oscars Are Hours Away!

Get ready peeps for the biggest night in entertainment! Tomorrow I'll be getting the full lowdown of the entire show. I just spotted a few movie stars (although not nominated) running up and down Hollywood getting their final preps in place and so many limos lining the sidewalks! It sucks that I won't be at the award show itself but I'll be watching it from home and giving a quick recount for those whom didn't manage to watch it or Tivo it.

Carrie Underwood To Media: Leave Them Alone!

A frenzy of questions were rained down on the poor country singer as she arrived in L.A. for the Oscars. One of them being the ongoing case surrounding Rihanna and Chris Brown's case. The former Idol was in a photo opportunity frenzy as the paps and reporters who were making LAX their camping ground with the Oscar fever just hours away were pelting her with questions. All Carrie could say was that the media should leave the two to resolve the matter themselves because some of the stories that were coming out were beginning to sound ridiculous. "Once we get the real statement from either two, then only can we make our own judgements," she finished.

Joe Jonas Looks Lovesick

At a recent softball game, The Jo Bros were having a wild time with friends but Joe looked too preoccupied to be in the game. A witness said,"He played a couple of times but that was it and stuck to either sitting on the bench or standing by the side to watch." His puppy- dog facial expressions may remind others that he could be feeling lovesick having not been able to spend the day with his supposed girlfriend, Camilla Belle. While we turn the spotlight away from Freida Pinto for once, we find another Slumdog star to report about. These two seem to be the talk of the town as the Oscars is just less than 24 hours away! Fans of Dev Patel were seen swarming him for quick pictures and autographs while he was seen going to an Oscar prep.

Pinto Feels She Has Bigger Things Ahead Of Her

Slumdog Millionaire actress, Freida Pinto has been getting a lot of hype lately so it won't be any harm to use that to her advantage. As she spoke to the press recently about her role in the Oscar nominated movie Freida also said "I want to find roles that challenge me (like that of Slumdog)." She also added, "I don't want to be known as that pretty face." Right now, the actress hasn't had any other film roles to come but she says like make other, "I'm just waiting for the right one to come along."

Taylor Has Sweet Revenge But Stays Sweet About It

Life for Taylor Swift hasn't just all been a bed of beautiful roses as much as we might think that way. In a candid interview she did for the March issue of Teen Vogue,of which she was also the covergirl, Taylor went on to mention about her 'miserable' past during junior high school. "The kids at school thought it was weird that I liked country- they'd make fun of me," she spoke about it. Then there were some girls whom she said didn't like her because she wasn't cool or pretty enough. Asked whether she ever saw those girls again, the 18- year-old said she did saying "I played a hometown show about a year into my career, and they showed up, wearing my T-Shirts and asking me to sign their CDs."

It would've been nicer to see if Taylor would react badly to them but fortunately, the singer has a more reasonable approach. She went on to credit her success to those girls because "...if I hadn't come home from school everyday feeling miserable, maybe I wouldn't be so motivated to write songs."

Hollywood Big Names Partying Up Before The Oscars

With two more nights before the big event, stars are painting the town (L.A.) red. Hopping from party to party and getting acquainted with one another, the stars look to be having an awesome time in the midst of the Oscar fever.

Some stars included Anne Hathaway, Zac Efron, Daniel Craig and Chace Crawford. Anne received an Oscar nod while the three men are reportedly presenting at the show. Wait, is that Daniel Craig's girlfriend, Satsuki Mitchell or someone else? I just couldn't believ that's his mom.

Fame Getting To Slumdog Star's Head?

Looks like stardom has a price and that means getting to shop at all the fancy places and ride in a limousine that literally says "Diva" (according to GossipGirls.net). With Oscar fever around the corner, Slumdog Millionaire star, Freida Pinto who became famous overnight with the show's surprise success was making use of her new privileges like those said while in LA for the Oscars. On another note, it was alleged that Pinto dumped her Indian fiance after she was starting to get noticed more in Hollywood. Also, she was rumored to be dating her Slumdog co-star Dev Patel who is considerably younger than her. The pair were spotted jewellery shopping in London recently prompting speculations about a romantic relationship between the two. Another Slumdog co-star, Anil Kapoor was quoted as saying, "The way I see them, they're definitely more than friends."

Twilight hunk, Robert Pattison has reportedly told his friend that he is feeling the nerves get to him this past month since snagging a gig as one of the Oscar presenters this coming Sunday night. It is known to put up rising stars to the task of presenting an award at the Oscars and it is no surprise Rob whom has been getting a lot of media attention and a gigantic fanbase that's still growing, to do the big gig. Looks like JoMilla have not been the only one to go very public with their relationship! "Gossip Girl" regulars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szhor were spotted at a game kissing and looking very comfortable with each other even though there were people taking pictures of them. After much anticipation about when Joe Jonas and Push beauty Camilla Belle will finally be open about their relationship, the stylish duo were spotted in NYC together sans the Jo Bro clan. For a few months since they met on the set of the Jonas Brothers' "Lovebug" video, Joe and Camilla have been spotted together a lot. This month alone saw much activity between the couple. They were seen in Disneyland together by many of the tourists, Joe sneaked into the premiere of "Push" and a while ago, The Jo Bros were with Camilla at an NYC concert. I guess Rob Pattison is still on the market then!

A few days ago, Megan Fox was spotted walking around an L.A. neighborhood sans her partner, Brian Austin Greene.

It's been a long time comin' but the two have managed to stay together (although not happy) about it. Even with rumors that Megan wants to take over the 'nessa' from Zanessa and last year's confession to GQ magazine about her love for women, the pair have still remained together. A few times showed bad signs of cracks in their relationship. At the Golden Globes this year, Megan did not bring Brian Austin Greene along. Brian confirmed it saying that "She's just presenting." A week ago, pictures of them leaving a parking lot during a downpour showed Brian ignorantly neglecting Megan to be drenched by the rain while he hogged the umbrella. She was among the few celebs who auditioned for the role and one such other star was HSM charmer, Vanessa Hudgens. I wonder who would play bad better?

Whether they're dating or not, here comes a picture that should say it all. Recently, the country star was asked by Larry King on his show about her thoughts concerning the mounting gossip of Jessica Simpson's weight problem.

Dolly was quick to defend Jess saying that she knew her after they recorded a song together a few months back. Dolly was full of praise for the budding country singer and told Larry that Jess was 'a good girl' and the media just loves to say bad things about Jess. When asked further about the media's part on this, Dolly said firmly, "Tell em' they need to shut the hell up."

Two days ago, TMZ.com posted a picture which claimed to be taken of Rihanna at the time of the probe.

Fast forward to today, Rihanna's PR told the press that she is doing well and thanked her fans for being there to support her throughout her ordeal.
